The Hollywood Trainwrex began as a trial between Guitarist John Buhler and Bassist Dan Mirai. The first trial consisted of two dudes, two guitars, two amps, and one microphone; the two pals were eager to start a band, and willing to sacrifice anything including their schooling to make the "band" work. After the first trial (in Dan's basement) the two continued to practice together every weekend in Dan's basement until John introduced the idea of adding a fellow friend to the band; a guitarist named Logan Johnson. The practice sessions quickly moved to John's Basement where all of the equipment was set up and ready for the three to "Rock" the house. During a practice session one day the three began to talk about a name for this newly created group...Thus, the Hollywood Trainwrex came to be. The Music style is unique in itself and is a mixture of New age Rock and Roll, Alternative, Pop-Punk, Emo, Metal, and Classic Rock due to the fact that all three members came into the band with different musical backgrounds, and taste. This uniqueness gives the Hollywood Trainwrex their distinct sound, and it's because of this sound that you'll be screaming for more TRAINWREX the instant the first track ends.
